Mahan Station

The Mahan Station office building had extremely difficult site conditions which warranted the use of a post-tensioned slab to handle poor soils. The building is split but connected by a large tower which serves as the entry point for both offices on both levels. Entry to this main tower is achieved by passing through either one of two smaller entry towers. Due to the sloping nature of the site, the building is carefully cut into the site to maximize accessibility. The use of color as well as materials and textures are also used to differentiate the various elements of this office building.
