Oakridge Elementary Renovations

This project was divided into three phases, with Phase A consisting of a 25,000SF addition with 17 new Classrooms, Art Lab, Music Lab and Skills Lab, a new HVAC system and construction of a new addition. Phase B consisted of renovations to the existing building by converting the open pod classrooms into 24 individual classrooms and two Skills Labs. The contractor’s bid was below the construction budget allowing the School Board to accept several additive alternates including the renovation of the Media Center/Library and Administrative offices for a total of 49,000 SF of renovation. Phase III added a 400 seat, full service Cafeteria, with a complete commercial grade kitchen and Teacher’s Lounge.
