Ross McLellan | Architectural Extern
rmclellan@jparchitects.com
Ross recently started externing (interning) at Johnson Peterson through the externship program at Lincoln High School. He finds time to come in to Johnson Peterson and soak in the experience whenever he can, when he’s not busy with schoolwork and school activities. He is currently enrolled in four Advanced Placement classes, and fills the rest of his time with marching band rehearsals and performances. As vice president of the band and horn section leader, Ross dedicates most of his time to playing French horn, marching, and helping others in band achieve their maximum potential. In his spare time outside of school, Ross enjoys playing jazz piano and drawing.
Born with a desire to create, design and build, Ross has known he wanted to be an architect since fifth grade. He looks forward to putting a use to his countless hours of design and construction with Legos throughout his childhood. After graduating high school, Ross plans to attend the University of Florida in Fall 2008 and study architecture. Later in college, he wants to travel to Italy to study abroad and expose himself to a wider range of architecture. He hopes to one day own his own firm.
